The Rega Planar 1, Rega Planar 1 Plus, and Rega Planar 2 are premium turntables designed to deliver exceptional audio performance.

The Rega Planar 1 features a hand-assembled RB110 tonearm and a factory-fitted Carbon moving magnet cartridge. It boasts a 24V, synchronous AC motor with a new motor PCB and aluminum pulley, offering low noise and improved speed stability. The 23mm, high-mass phenolic platter enhances the flywheel effect for even better speed stability. Rega's latest custom foot design increases stability and reduces vibration transfer, while the precision brass main bearing minimizes the transfer of potential energy.

The Rega Planar 1 Plus shares many of the same features as the Planar 1, including the hand-assembled RB110 tonearm and factory-fitted Carbon moving magnet cartridge. It also features the same 24V, synchronous AC motor with a new motor PCB and aluminum pulley, as well as the 23mm, high-mass phenolic platter.

The Rega Planar 2 takes the performance to the next level with a hand-assembled RB220 tonearm and a factory-fitted Carbon moving magnet cartridge. It boasts a new 24V, low-noise, and low-vibration motor assembly with a new PCB. The 10mm float glass 'Optiwhite' platter offers improved accuracy for enhanced speed stability. The re-designed feet and new improved foot assembly further increase stability and reduce vibration transfer, while the 11mm self-securing brass bearing provides a more secure fit and minimizes the transfer of potential energy.

All three turntables are available in three stunning plinth finishes: matt black, matt white, and walnut effect. The Planar 1 and Planar 1 Plus feature a vastly improved appearance with an ergonomically positioned on/off switch located on the underside, while the Planar 2 boasts a high-gloss acrylic or walnut effect laminated plinth for an even more refined look.

The Planar 1 weighs 9.26 lbs, the Planar 1 Plus weighs 9.59 lbs, and the Planar 2 weighs 12.12 lbs. The Planar 2 also features a motor cover tray with integrated cooling, and all models come with optional lid/plinth protectors to keep the plinths looking their best.
