The Rega Planar 1, Rega Planar 1 Plus, and Rega Planar 2 are high-quality turntables that offer exceptional performance and value. The Rega Planar 1 is the first entry-level Rega turntable to use a 24V, synchronous AC motor with a new motor PCB and aluminum pulley, providing low noise and better speed stability. It features a 23mm, high-mass, phenolic platter with an improved flywheel effect for enhanced speed stability, and our latest custom foot design to increase stability and reduce vibration transfer. The Planar 1 also includes a precision brass main bearing, offering improved fit and minimizing the transfer of potential energy.

The Rega Planar 1 Plus shares many of the same features as the Planar 1, including the hand-assembled RB110 tonearm, factory-fitted Carbon moving magnet cartridge, and custom foot design. However, the Planar 1 Plus adds a built-in phono stage, allowing near-universal compatibility with hi-fi systems.

The Rega Planar 2 takes things a step further, with a hand-assembled RB220 tonearm, new 24V low-noise, low-vibration motor assembly, and a new 10mm float glass 'Optiwhite' platter for improved accuracy. The Planar 2 also features a re-designed foot assembly to increase stability and reduce vibration transfer, as well as an 11mm self-securing brass bearing for improved fit and less stress on the bearing.

All three Rega turntables come with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and offer automatic anti-skate adjustment, making them plug-and-play ready. The Planar 1 and Planar 1 Plus are available in a choice of three stunning plinth finishes – black, white, or walnut effect – while the Planar 2 offers a high-gloss acrylic or walnut effect laminated plinth for a sleek, modern look.
